7yr. old Goffin cockatoo, she IS Sassy!!
Mi Amigo has discovered the large, over the sink, mirror in our bathroom. He thinks he is very handsome, (which he is), and loves to spend time there. Should I allow this? What's your opinion?

I don't see why not. Some people are of the opinion that you shouldn't have a mirror in a bird's cage though. If he starts acting aggressive around it, I'd discourage it.

I have a carnival type mirror in my ammies cage. They will occationally from time to time sit at it and just stare and quietly chatter to themselves in it. I have had no agressiveness towards it and they are a mated pair so i am sure they would not like to see another bird on thier turf, but like I said no problems at all with it, aside from them occationally chewing on the edges but they are birds i expected that lol
