Since Skippah's cage was stolen he is stuck inside till the insurance money comes though. I thought I would spice up his perch till I get the new one.
I got a green perch to file down his killer talons, a cuttle fish, a ladder and I cut up and old rotting hammock to add a climbing net.

I got the flying shots by putting him on my shoulder and walking backwards with my camera focused on the perch, and then when he headed for it, I snapped blindly. When Debbie comes home I will try it from a different angle

Wow they are really great, Is that millet on the new perch? What does he think of it? I only ask cos Bucc won't even have any in his cage, and will try to pinch it from everyone's cage, it seems he thinks its something I'm trying to poison him with. :D

Does he play with his toys now?

Oh so many questions.

He likes the Millet when you don't offer it every day.
He likes the Cuttle fish.
He hasn't noticed his ladder yet.
He is wary of the green perch, I think he is trying to preserve His weapons.
Fricking like a lot of hyperdermics at once.
He is noisier and more demanding more of the time.
Did i miss anything?

Deb thought the netting looked tacky, so she removed it.
I will go to a marine supply store and get something less rotten.
I am 1/2 way though my next project. A feeder/perch for the bathroom. If it works out, I will post up a picture, if it doesn't, we shall never speak of it again.

Anyone remember the perch I spent 5 hours wrapping in twine for the bird?
Here it is Today.

I'm sooo glad I didn't waste my time on that project. He seems to prefer it messy.
He is also now throwing the orange zootopia bits to the dog and only eating the red ones. That stuff cost 32 bux a kilo and the bloody dog is getting 1/2 of it.

Quick math .... .82 * 32 .... kilos to pounds ....

HOLY CUCUMBERS -- that stuff is $16 a pound ... for that price that your fids better be as healthy as horses ... er, you know what I mean!
