I knew it was a matter of time before my Goffin , Yoshi figured out that hair scrungies are fun to play with. I was doing spot cleaning in his cage this morning and he always watches me intently on top making sure I get every corner of his cage and I felt something in my hair. Yep , he discovered my hair scrungie ! He grabbed it out of my hair and proceeded to jump around with it happy as can be.
I let him have it till I was done figuring it would keep him out of my hair so to speak and when I went to collect it from him , he threw a fit and flew off with it ! He did a circle and came back to his cage with it and landed on top and put it down then jumped around it like a crazy bird , flapping his wings and having a grand ole time with it. I wish I had gotten this on video because it was the funniest thing I have ever seen him do , lolol. He had me LMAO for the rest of the morning
I eventually got it back when I bribed him with a slice of apple and I put it back in my hair , and , he went for it again. This is a bird who was scared of his own shadow when I brought him home in October. It feels really good to see him finally letting his ( my ) hair down and enjoying life I enjoy and love this little guy so much
