Towel training

I have been working with Maui on towel training. At first he didn't seem to like it at all. Then we turned it into cuddle time and he loves it. I can even pick him up now, when he is in the towel.

Kudos to you both! He is so adorable! Towel training is very important as it helps a bird feel safe and non stressed in case we need to subdue them due to an injury, nail clipping or giving meds.

Peek a Boo, Maui! So cute, sounds like good progress. Amigo loves getting in and under towels. Greycloud is right, sometimes it really comes in handy for them to be comfortable with it.
