Ok, Here are all the stages for building the Professors Perch from scratch.
Professor2010.jpg

I cut down a pepper tree last week (well, Debbie did it for me).
Then I mixed up some pre-packed cement and put the stump in a flower pot. I put a plastic liner between the pot and the cement, and the cement and the stump.

Then I drilled some holes and attached a calcium perch on the top

Then I added a hemp string covered pvc perch, attached by rope with knots that can be undone and bring the hemp perch crashing down( most satisfying if you can get the knots undone).

Then I attached 2 stainless steel seed bowls both off either side of the calcium perch. (both off centre so he cant poo in one while eating out of the other)

I then added and free hanging ladder that moves when you climb up it and some domino's and keys hanging from a hook.

Now I need wait for the cement to harden properly, then break out the old flower pot, put the cement block into a bigger flower pot and add a poo catcher.

So far, thats it. It look a little boring still , So I will find a few colourful thigs to add to it.
I am now taking suggestions for changes or improvements.
What have I forgotten?

I have made some adjustments.
I have moved the food and water bowls as he was getting a wet tail when he ate.
I still have to figure out how to get all the dried cement off the stump, and add a poo catcher and a prettier cleaner base.
Then I will just add different colour and toys.
What have I missed?
