Mickey - Female U2 age unknown. DNA test came back...he is a SHE,

Tinker 12 yr old female GCC

Chiquita 16 yr old Female U2 and Junior 16 yr old Male Grey
I couldn't begin to guess her age...but she is beautiful.

Her feathers look like she may "barber" a bit on the wing area, but she looks good. Our Chiquita barbers all her feathers.....and to others might not look so good, but to us she is beautiful.

As far as diet, pellets are the best, with fruits and vegetables everyday. Variety is the key. You can also look up recipes for "chop" and "birdie bread".

Without a form of identification with a year attached to that ID, no one can really begin to guess how old Melika is. An avian vet may be able to guesstimate, but they could be off by several years!

She's gorgeous!

As far as feathers go, try giving her a bath via a spray bottle, under the kitchen faucet, in the bathroom, or however she likes it best! With preening, she may sort out her feathers. For the most part though, they appear fine!

Diet? If available to you, an organic dye/sugar-free diet, along with healthy nuts, sprouted seeds, vegetables, some fruits, healthy grains, healthy legumes, occasional cooked eggs, etc would be a pretty good base diet!
