Minton Farm

Today I took the Professor back to Minton Farm where he was rescued a year ago. A few of volunteers were still there at 2pm feeding all the animals. The Professor interacted with some new animals, and we now know that he is afraid of lambs and baby emus. The baby lamb scared him and he flew into the Emus enclosure and was not impressed at the size of em.
The lamb freaked him out as did the ferrets, rats, rabbits, and all the other animals there. He loved going from shoulder to shoulder and loved eating the food, but wasnt keen on the animals when they wouldn't bow to him like they have to at home. I got pix of the lady who saved the Proff and some video of the end of the feeding session that I got on tape. I hope to show it all to you soonish. It was a good day out but I am sooo tired I cant even bring the cameras and stuff out of the car. Hope its all there in the Morning.
The place is a long way into the hills and is on a very windy road. I wanted to take some footage of the rolling hills and 500 year old gum trees for you over seas-ers but the road is so narrow, there is nowhere to park long enough to take a shot without getting hit by another car coming round the bend.
I saw so much love and care today for animals who would not normally survive. These folks do a really good job, good on them I say.

I may not post it all.
I think next time I will just take still shots and make a photo essay.

Those pics are good. Actually they are funny. Poor guy was scared. The one that he is one the ground is he screeching at them or just opening his wings and beak? lol.
