baby galah!

hello!
I'm new here and this is my first thread c:
I just got a new galah! he's 6 months old, I'm new to cockatoos to be honest so I'm confused about a move he does like daily and i don't know what's the meaning of this!

is he happy or crying?

They will sometimes do something similarish but it sounds angry/coarse/very guttural... which means they are frustrated, I call it the galah tantrum. Its also nothing to worry about, they just need to let out their frustration somehow.

There are ways to distract them from it if you really can't stand the noise, but it is best to let them get it all out Its a part of their overall personality. Toys they can destroy or roll about on the floor with will help them get rid of excess energy which may decrease happy dances or frustration flip outs.
Also if you want to distract, figure out what times they are likely to have their afternoon/morning sillies and make that feed time or bath time.
