Red/Rainbow Lory Hybrid named Rosy, Green Cheek Conure, Named Zuko, as well as a Ducorps Cockatoo named Coco.
I am considering getting an Umbrella, or Lesser Sulpher Crested, or perhaps a Major Mitchells Cockatoo in the future when we're slightly more settled in a home, I currently have a ducorps and he is the greatest bird, I know they take alot of work (I have had to put alot of work into my ducorps as well) and I just love him, I have worked with a few Umbrella and one or two sulphurs but Im not sure on which is best. Depending on the funds I have to adopt the bird, I'd definitively be looking more into the major mitchells but I'd love to hear from other bird-parents!

If you know how to train one, it's which ever one you prefer.

The biggest thing with toos is structured interaction so the bird learns to self entertain, and doesn't expect to be held all day long...

"Problem birds" are created by humans who don't get the training part.

If you get it, then get one.

If you don't get it, then please, there are enough scream 'n' plucks out there already, and it's gut wrenching to see!

It's really that simple. And also that complicated.
