What age can galahs start talking?

Good Morning,
Before I got Nigel I was reading the forum and so many of you would describe how much your feathered friends are apart of your family and it is so true! Nigel is like my little baby! I am so in love with the cheeky little boy. Last night was my dads birthday, we turned the lights off and all sung happy birthday and Nigel danced on the lounge beside him and made happy sounds.

Nigel has settled into my home very well, at the start he was a little unsure of my mum and would lunge at her hands when she asked him to step up but we worked out it was because she had long red finger nails and he thought it was a toy. He loves most of the veggies I feed him now (if he doesn't like what i give him, he just throws it all over the floor) He is eating and drinking very well now
I just have one question is there an age which birds start talking? I think Nigel is starting to say hello even my brother and dad have heard it. He is out of his cage very often and is always with my family (when I'm at work) or with me.

They can start talking pretty much at any age- chili started talking not too long after she came home, so I wouldn't doubt if Nigel has already picked up a word or two- and he most likely practices when he's alone

Chili is 9 months old and says quite a few things already. Mostly phrases she hears A LOT- pretty bird, she's a pretty bird, what's up, what?!, and she's working on I love you.
