Jasper- bare eyed cockatoo
Still getting acquainted with my newest baby Jasper. He is a seven month old bare eyed Too. He is pretty quiet still but is settling in nicely. I wanted to see if anyone else has a cockatoo that makes a noise that I keep hearing from my little guy. When he is content and happy sitting with me, he will preen himself and my hair, and gets head scratches and all of a sudden he lets out a soft little hiss sound. Almost like a whisper or soft puff. Nothing like an aggressive or fearful hiss. It's quite obvious that it's his- I'm happy sound, but is that something other cockatoo owners have heard?
she mainly does it when she's getting snuggles.
