Of Course I have Folger Pics Too!

If you haven't heard Folger decided it was a good day to fly/jump attack my mother. So my mom has jokingly called him evil bird and bad bird all day so I took some pics and a vid to show what a good boy he is.....

Random pic from earlier today before he decided my mother may taste good and chased her down.

For the attacking in all seriousness! The rescue said for me to show my displeasure with the flying by stepping in front of him when he looks like he is about to do it and telling him no in a displeased tone and then putting him away. So we will give that a try! Plus she was walking around with a towel earlier after Folgers bath and it made him pause a bit! So hopefully we already have this under control!

He's precious! I hope one of those tricks works for your mother's sake.

I do hope you get the issue with Folger and your mom resolved! And a big yay for Folger for letting some new feathers grow in! Must be all the fun toys his mommy is making him

He does likes some of those new toys! I hope one of the tricks works too. The rescue reminded us it was the season for hormones and that it is probably part of the issue.

We jokingly said this is what I would have to do with him when I bring him out!

Kiwi he has feathers coming in under his wing too near his butt! He isn't pulling them but preening them a bit. Everytime he goes to touch them I want to 'accidentally' flick something at him because he makes me nervous Or when he touches the tops of his wings or his scabs! I'm jumpy:52:

He's adorable by the way. Even if he's a terror. And I'm sure soon he'll just lick his scabs and barely touch his feathers just to have the delight of seeing you jump up!

They are happy together, amazes I can't walk by but she can stuff him in her sweatshirt....

I'd be a nervous wreck watching those feathers coming back in, but fingers crossed he seems to be doing well - and the I Pad is a great idea, having just found out this week what happens when cockatoo gets its beak into a laptop keyboard...
