Chili was being such a sweet snuggly cuddle monster earlier, just thought I'd share the cuteness

She likes to press her head and beak on my chin


Am I the only one who sees that mischievous glint in her eye???? Cute, but it looks like she's plotting something...

Oh how cute and sweet.. We do cherish these moments that only a bird lover is privy to. Just as snuggly and loving as a dog little do most people know. Right now I'm enjoying the same kind of snuggles with Robin

Exactly!! It's funny to see people's reactions when they see her being snuggly- they don't expect a BIRD to be capable of these types of moments... If they only knew

Oh those photos would have given Dally a run for her money back in February!!! Yes, I recognize that too eye... yours may have more color around it, but I recognize that loving snuggle, melt your heart while she's trying to figure out how to get your car keys and make it to the nut store!!

Chili is so pretty... makes me want a Galah... then I look at Ivory across the room making a huge pile of mess for me to clean up and I wonder... why does anyone want a cockatoo!!! There is something about those eyes tho.... makes your heart melt til you want to wring their necks 10 minutes later...

I actually asked my husband last night, if he knew the night we met Ivory what he knows today, would he still want her... keep in mind, he is the one who picked out Ivory and pulled me over to her cage where my reaction was 'yeah its a bare eyed cockatoo'.... turn the tables today!! Knowing what he does now, he's not sure he would still want to bring her home... me who was not gung ho at first, just the opposite, as much of a rotten turd I've helped her to become, I can't imagine life without the monster!

Those pics of Chili are perfect examples why too lovers put up with their crazy birds

HAHAHHA jen... Yep. Yep. Yep. She always has hidden motives- let me snuggle you so I can be closer- closer to gnawing on your clothing or trying to steal whatever you have lol

Chili and Ivory are sisters at heart- don't be fooled by the cuteness!! She's a mess maker and a destroyer!! Yesterday she managed to annihilate the joysticks on the ps3 controller

But she brings me so much joy and it's moments like these that make it all worth it ❤️

She's going through her first molt so she's in the middle of getting her big girl feathers- and her flight feathers are coming in!! It's fun watching her realize she can fly better- and she's been trying them out! Instead of a graceful rapid/short decline, now it's a graceful circle around the room at a steady decline. Lol

Who needs PS3 when you have a cockatoo to keep you busy!!

Ivory's latest thing is pens... so now we have no clue how many 'pens' around the house that are just the casing cause I take the ink tube out, but let the brat chew on the pen. Her favorite of course are the ones with the rubber grip....

And we spend so much money buying and making toys... just throw a handful of old plastic pens into their toy baskets... and a PS3 controller or two for variety

LOL!!! iiiiii don't play video games- it's my husband!! I don't have time to sit on my butt and play them...I have too many things to do every day lol

Oh gosh- Chili goes bonkers over pens, but her favorite are my crochet hooks LOL I already have to keep pens and pencils tucked away because the kid tries to steal them too!!!

Oh. My. Goodness.

If Chili ever decides she needs an extra snuggle buddy, I am SO in. Let her know and I'll send in a resume with a fabulous cover letter - I promise I come with extra snuggle and cuddle experience!

She is just so adorable! Melts my heart and makes me want a galah even more now! Hopefully in 5-8 years time I'll feel experienced enough and prepared to welcome a beautiful bird nearly as gorgeous and wonderful as Chili into my home. When I hear about her, Ivory, and especially Folger, I'm quite thankful I only have my little beaks to worry about! But you know us crazy bird people... we can hardly ever say no to an adorable ball of feathers even if it comes with the most destructive beak in the world
