My rose breasted, Chickie, in the past few days has stop talking and wont come out of her cage unless I take her out. Shes usually very energetic and talkative. Shes still eating and I did take her to the doctors, he thinks its her hormones and gave her a shot. I've never experienced this and I dont know if I should be concerned. Any advice?

How old is Chickie?

Did your vet run any tests to rule out illnesses?? If not, I would take her back (or to a different avian vet) and have them make sure she's not sick- I am not licensed to give you medical advice for Chickie, but it's concerning that she's stopped talking, less energy, and doesn't want to come out of her cage- which I'm assuming is the complete opposite of her "normal" behaviors.

Has anything changed in her/your daily routine??

Shes a year and a half. The only time she started talking again was when we went to the vet. The only thing that was done that was different was I had a few friends over and we had the music playing louder than usual. It all started after that.
