Last Saturday, my Mum and Stepdad came to see me.
We went out to look at the birds, Pull up some weeds to feed the finches, Look at who has mated with who in the avairy, and what their kids look like.
Proff was wandering the yard for the first time in ages. He kept swapping between my mums shoulder for mine. My stepdad was drowning mice (see other thread).
On one of his visits to my shoulder, I went to look at the budgies, thru the front of the avairy. Debbie was coming out of the avairy and as we walked past each other, Proffesor put his plan into action
He leaped about 1.5 metres onto Debbies shoulder/back, landing Beak 1st, then feet next. Once he got his balance, he let his feet drop, so he was hanging off her shoulder, beak only, twisting his head.
Debbie:GET HIM OFF ME!!!!!!
I had reached over and put my wrist under his hanging feet, and he refused to take a step up, thus avoiding my wrist for another 5 seconds. He stepped and broke off the beak attack , I stepped back out of reach.
Proffesor: DEBBIE!!DEBBIE!!
He spent the rest of day in his cage, watching the action, instead of enjoying it wit us.
I think he thought it was a fair swap.
Coz Debbie was wearing a shirt, He did not break the skin. He left 2 indents, and two bruises in the same spots, to remember him by

I write this story only coz my dear wife says I only talk about the good things they do.
I am sure I said publicly in the past, THe Proffesor is not keen on Debbie.
Its not always fun in the land of OZ.

Proff and Skippah are both very jealous, but they have only every had me as a keeper of their needs. Baby and Peter show no such signs. They have different issues.
MY Mum tried to kiss me on the cheek to say goodbye the other day while Skippah was sitting on my shoulder and Skippah bit her gently on the ear, in and effort to get his "other woman" away from me. It wasnt nasty, just firm and had a obvious message,...Back off from my man.
Skippah seldom goes in hard staight away. 1st she will push your hand away, then she will hold your finger and with her beak, then if you keep coming back, she will gently nip you and move up out of reach.
She is a smart bird, and I would consider her the most trustworthy of the flock.
