Galah - Nigel
So Nigel's flight feathers have begun falling out and new ones growing back !

I love him flying around the house but I also like taking him to relatives houses and out the front of my house to enjoy the sunshine.
I want Nigel to be able to wear a harness, does anyone have any suggestions on a brand of harness that will be easy to put onto my Galah

:confused::grey:

Sorry nobody has posted a response & I can't answer your questions, never had a galah and the only harness interaction I could relate was over 15 years ago with a maroon bellied conure and I can assure you he was not interested in any form of harness or restriction other than down my shirt.....he was extremely expressive of that point and demonstrated so on my fingers.....

Good luck.....

I would suggest the Aviator Harness, they have sizes for each species of bird and the harness itself comes with a really good instructional DVD. Watch that before you even let your bird see the harness, that's what I did. It takes patience but better to go slow rather than go too fast and end up with a bird who hates harnesses. (He might not like it anyway, but that's just how birds are.)

Good luck!

Aviator harness X2. I have one for my Eclectus, he seems to fly fine in it, and it doesn't seem to bother him all that much. I also just bought their flight line too for him to start exercising more outside since he LOVES outside time!
