For the first couple of weeks, we kept Rocky's cage on our enclosed front porch, until we could rearrange the living room for it. He demanded to go to bed at dusk, and I figured that was because he was out there where the sunrise and sunset were so visible. But tonight he's in the living room, with artificial light and the TV, and still insisted on bedtime at dusk. My other birds stay up a couple of hours past dusk because (I thought) they're in artificial light.

with my two in the living room..sometimes they are out til 10pm. When its bed time to them, they have no problem going in their home by themselves.
Sometimes my TAG would even say "good night good night" I would turn off the lights but still watch tv and it didn't bother them. They'd just close their eyes, bury their beaks under their arms and go sleepy.
