So we came home last night, my brother stopped by and set up her cage with her familiar and favorite toys. She came out this morning only because I was fixing her things at the bottom the cage, putting her things in a box and her cage door was open. she came down to the bottom of the cage and I asked her to step up and she did and she chilled on my knees while I was organizing her things. She even lets my older son (4 yrs old) give her head scratches after he asks her if he can.
Obviously she feels safer in the cage, and playing here and there, bopping her head and chirping, and she's eating and drinking well.
I face timed my mom and dad because they wanted to face time with her. so they face timed with her for 20 minutes, she bopping her head and talking cockatoo gibberish with them. And than my parents ended face time without even a good bye to me :11::11:.
SO far so good. Hubby is falling her love with her as well because she's so good with the kids, I may just get replaced soon by Miss Rosey
