For those that know me and rosey's story, I bought her from my moms house because mom has to get her carpets cleaned and also she wanted me to train her as well.

She's doing awesome here, eating, playing, and also gaining confidence since her flight feathers are coming here so she's been low gliding in the house. But the last two days I've been seeing her barbering her tail feathers. She has so many toys, foraging toys and chewing toys inside her cage and she gets a lot of outside cage time and one on one time with me, but she's ruining her tail feather. I told her" how in the world are you going to fly with flight feathers and no tail feathers!" She looked at me like "oh please woman, mind your business!"I know she like chewing on jute rope so I got some jute rope and I'm going to wrap into parts of the cage so she can chew.

Any other ideas?!

I am holiday mummy to another RB2 (has plucked) and he loves undoing strips of knotted leather and it keeps him busy, busy, busy. Integrate beads and wooden bits into it and see how Rosey takes to it? We cannot keep up with him when he gets going, it takes us longer to knot it than it does for him to undo it!! :)

RB2's like to mouth (well beak really) items especially little chains with beads etc on attached to a D link

Are you spraying her or giving her chance to bathe often?

Hope these help?

(obviously you know Rosey and will know if these items will be safe for her to have)

Those toys looks great! She likes the ropes better than the Leather. I might just try something tonight like that. Thank you so much!
