There was a 3 month old galah who was being looked at by someone. They did not know diddly doo about birds. She, of course, did not know how to step up so they flat out grabbed her, and the grabs weren't exactly the gentlest. Rightly, the store owners did not want to sell the bird to them SO I went over to the owner and with all I've heard about galahs (and me LOVING THEM TO PIECES) I bought the lil guy. There's not a single doubt in my mind that bird would have ended up in bad shape :( . DNA results to come.

He's gorgeous. He has no idea how lucky he is landing in a parrot-savy home. Congratulations.

Not until you contract MBS. Multiple Bird Syndrome is spread by interaction with birds. There is rarely a cure!

Beautiful and very lucky baby Galah. Glad the breeder was watchful and caring.

The store I go to is really nice, they genuinely care for all their birds...they don't sugar coat ANYTHING, especially with 'toos. In fact you have to have owned a bird to work there.
