Thanks for the tips! So far he doesn't like chewing on toys for some reason which sucks because I have so many toys for him. He seems to only enjoy shredding furniture, door/wall material, throwing items off of shelves, and chewing small things like small sticks and q tips when offered to him. Makes such a mess! Lol

Oh dear that isnt good. Probably been allowed to do it before. Show him his toys, try a mix of wood and the ones that are finer, raffia type. Show him them and play with them yourself to engage him. You will have a very expensive time otherwise.
When he does something naughty, put him in the cage and lock the door. You can talk firmly to him, but don't overdo it.
This is what I would do. Show him that if he is naughty that there are consequences. Something he doesn't like, such as having playtime outside cut short.
