When my daughter got her SC we immediately bought him a harness. She's 16 and knows everything so she went home, opened up the package and attempted to put the harness on him without watching the DVD Or reading the book.
Well you probably already know how that went... He wanted no part of it and started thrashing and freaking out.
My plan while my U2 is still in the nursery is to get his harness and start De-sensitizing him to it and let him adjust to it while he's still in the nursery.
My question is, what age should he be when I first introduce the harness to him?
And, are there any lessons learned that you all might like to share?
I'd like to keep this stress-free as possible for both of us. I sure don't want to traumatize him while I'm working to gain his trust.
