Cockatoo and music

Hello, I have a few questions about white cockatoos. 1) Do they always dance when they hear music? If not in how many times it will dance approximately if he hears music 10 times? 2) Do they need to be in a special mood to dance?
3) Do they all dance like snowball, tapping the foot ( [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJOZp2ZftCw"]Snowball (TM) - Another One Bites The Dust - YouTube[/ame] )?

English is not my native language, so I hope you understand what I wrote

Wow, that is really funny! And more amazing, the bird has good timing!

Rocky only dances to music he likes, and he is very choosy. LOL Mostly he puts up his crest and rocks back and forth and bounces his head and he's pretty good at keeping time, too. Haven't seen him tap his foot yet. He likes 50s songs like "Rock Around the Clock" and he likes disco (I'm a huge Bee Gees fan) and he prefers live music to recorded music (we're musicians, so we practice and play in front of him).

Great going Snowball, great how he changes his moves to the tempo.

But to answer no they don't all do this, they all have their individual characteristics. For example my RB2 bounces and my friends RB2 looks like he is doing a Riverdance rendition, same music or song. Snowball clearly loves the bass. On a workout like this you wouldn't get a 'too do it 10 times LOL. They do seem very individual in their choice of music also. Note also we cannot see what is going on, on the other side of the camera.

I think Cockatoos in general are the best dancers.
There are a few cute ones dancing to "Gangnam Style" on YouTube last time I looked.
You go, Snowball!

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
I have 6 cockatoos, and none of them dance to music. They will dance for attention or doing rituals such as hopping and twirling. Snowball is exceptional, and there are many more such videos circulating.

Your English is excellent!! :)

My umbie, Poppy dances when she's really happy, she also dances with me when we say goodnight and sing our goodnight song. She plays her piano and dances on her perch. Unlike Snowball, poor Poppy has no rythym whatsoever. She loves music though.

I just watched this video again, with my family, on the big screen tv. Hysterical an Snowball has better timing then my bass player! Did you teach Snowball to dance, or did he just start doing it one day? I would love to teach Salty to dance like that ( he already sings allong with certain songs) .

Willow the Umbrella Cockatoo
Willow has a terrible taste in music.

She likes pop.

That said, she'll occasionally rock out with me, had her headbanging to Headstrong (Trapt) and Click Click Boom (Saliva) yesterday, lol

Snowball is NOT a common Too....he is an exceptional dancer, much more than average,

That said, if you are considering a Cockatoo, please do a lot of research, as they are very needy, loud birds, and they require a lot of attention.

So easy to forget in all the fun and fluff of a 'too dancing to music. They are very individual feathered beings with a strong will and need a lot of time and attention as has been so very well said. :)
