I have a umbrella cocatoo . I have him in a big room , with tv heat & cooling
I go see him often ,was petting him and hand feeding him .
Then the other day he about took my finger off i mean off.
Was wondering if you can put two cocatoos together?.
I was wondering about this too . What is he doing ? he gets in a old bird feed bucket hisses and goes on all the time . Like he trying to make a nest .
I feel sorry for him. Cannot keep in house i don,t care what anybody says.
He is 18 . You know i have to feel sorry for him or i would of killed him over my finger. Thanks chevychase.:white1:

Where are you located? Your bird sounds hormonal. But you said you handfed him, so we need to know his age. Like PR says, we need more info. Is he outdoors? In a garage? An out building? How old is he? Does he have toys? What size cage? Maybe a pic of set up would help. What is his diet? If you can answer these questions we can help.

Ok. he is 18 name casey . He is in a room over garage. 24 foot by 12 foot. He has a cage that he sleeps in. 5 foot tall by 4 foot wide . Has all types toys ect. He eats good ,
He has the whole room to walk ,run ect. I did go in and hand feed , pet talk ect.
But the other day he got a hold of my finger almost took it off. So now i,am a little bird shy. We do get him out everyday in a smaller cage for some fun and sun. On the bucket, he gets in a bucket made a nest . he will hiss and go on while in bucket. Was wondering , can two toos get along in open room? Thanks

Birds are flock animals and need others around. Either people or other birds. Does he get any one on one time with you? Is he exposed to social contacts? He may be lonley if he is in this room all alone.

He gets more attention than my wife:D. Yes we talk ,sing ect.
He is very smart. We play hide and seek when i jump out he actually laughs.
Like to get him some bird friends. What would be best ?
If two toos are together would they be more relaxed like not scream as much? Are there other birds he would get along with. If you could load me up on good info on toos. Thanks and thanks.;)
