Yes the same re the eye but if the light is right or wrong it can be confusing. Go on have that DNA test!

She is a cutie. One piece of advice, from my own personal experience make sure you feed her correctly. Start as you mean to go on, these 'toos are prone to life threatening health problems that can be eliminated with a little knowledge and some common sense and all because of an incorrect diet. Wishing you many happy and healthy years together.

Adorable! I get my baby in August:). The eyes can give away gender a lot of the time but not until they are older.. My girl has very light eyes and she is about 3 years old now. My baby has dark eyes and is DNA tested female and is 3 months old now.

Yeah, the ring in my galah's eyes that show her as female didn't start appearing until she was about a year old. But she was DNA tested before that. If you don't care, you can wait until she/he matures and see if the ring appears. There is still some possibility of mistake in that, but it will likely show you. Otherwise, go for the test!

My AV kept calling Plum 'she', had the test and he cannot now as he's definitely my boy LOL.

I'm getting a "girl" vibe from the pictures, but I was totally wrong about my starling, whose name is Ringo and who is a girl, so don't bet on me. LOL

Yes I will try, she eats everything including pellets as she's still a baby I'm giving her a huge variety of foods and she seems to like everything so far hopefully setting her up for lifetime of good eating habits ! She's not too keen on fruit but loves her vedgies.

Yes I have a boy called Plum! He doesn't mind though. It would be a shame as I am sure her name has started to register. You hear of parronts who have changed their birds names and the bird still yells out the old one.
