RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
Congratulations, Goffins are awesome companions!!

Four months when you bought, how long has it been so we can evaluate her current age? Seems she is transitioning nicely to a permanent diet, but some will cry for handfeeding.

Honestly, it has been nearly 20 years since I was involved with hand-feeding so perhaps others can give better advice. I believe it is appropriate to offer the evening feeding until she refuses. Helps to create a better bond!

Don't stop until she refuses it for at least 5 nights IN A ROW. Expect to keep it up for several months. It's important to her emotional and mental development; it isn't about nutrition at this point it's about security and confidence.

I think you should keep doing it as long as she wants you to. Great for bonding.

Jonesy a Goffins 'Too who had to be rehomed :-(

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
I totally agree with all the above. When I brought home Amy almost 30 years ago,she was just 4 months old. At the breeders she was already on pellets and fruits and veggies. The breeder informed me to hand feed her for about 2 weeks, only before bed time,to help with bonding, when she refuse the bottle, then stop.

It was just about two weeks when she decided enough was enough, and I honestly believe it greatly helped with the bonding.

Congrats on the baby Goffin! They can,and ARE little rascals/devils,but so dang funny/charming!
