- Kaya Cockatoo, EJ Amazon, Pepper African Grey, Casey IRN, Glen Sun Conure
We adopted our first U2 yesterday. Her owner passed away so all we know is she’s 13 and her name is Kaya.
We have an amazon and an IRN, but cockatoos are so different. Can anyone suggest which book is the best for learning more about her? (By the way she seems to LOVE the other birds).
I have learned that she only eats pellets so we will slowly work on some variety, but as far as bathing and other routine maintenance, I feel like I need to know more. I’m sure most care will be similar to the amazon, but the first difference I noticed yesterday was “the dust”.
I appreciate any Species Specific resources you could fly my way. [emoji4]
