...... Amy and BB's "Uncle DJ" is owned by Pookie (a.k.a. Casper) a U2.

DJ has had Pook for about 26 years..Pookie is approximently 30 yrs old.
He says all of a sudden Pookie has started chewing his clothing..puts holes in his jeans and sweat pants..just chewed thru his sox   before he even saw or felt it lol.
DJ says she has never done this before. I know a lot of our FID's are dealing with their hormones at this moment. I'm just curious ( and so is DJ!) if this is a 'too trait (chewin') during this time.

He knows 'too's are known to be chewers anyway..but still..

RIP Gandalf and Big Bird, you are missed.
They do enjoy chewing, especially clothes! Mine seem to do so pretty consistently all year. Anything else going on that might cause a change of behavior?

I have taken to buying cheap T-shirts at Walmart every week because Rocky chews them up and I don't want him to chew up the ones I like (which he's already put some holes in!). He sits on my lap and first thing I know, my shirt has a giant hole in it. It's just a 'too thing.

Oh no, it’s a parrot thing! My Parrotlet has inspired me to buy a cheap hoodie that I now refer to as my “house hoodie” that she can chew to her heart’s content, and I only wear old crappy t-shirts if the hoody is too warm. She likes to redesign the collars. [emoji23]

As far as I know,Scott..there hasn't been any changes. Pookie still gets her out time. DJ works 2nd shift..so when he gets home Pook comes out for about 45 minutes then DJ goes to bed..and in the morning, around 10 or 10:30am she comes back out and has breakfast and "coffee" and is out for a couple hours then.
I will admit...DJ DOES give her lots of out time and plays with her..I'm just heart broken the way he treats her sometimes when she misbehaves terribly with her VERY loud screaming.
