Shame you don't live closer Scott, as I can think of few people who'd fulfill the requirement of extensive cockatoo experience necessary to adopt this beautiful bird more than you have! She/he is really a stunner.

According to Rosemary Low, they are probably the species of white cockatoo that is most unsuited to captivity, especially indoors.


There is a charming story of Cookie - a MM cockatoo that lived at Brookefield Zoo for 83 years and passed away in 2016.
