I am very very happy to report Angel is getting back to herself today.. I spoke with an Aviary Vet for about an hour yesterday on the phone.. She is further away but seems more interested in helping me help Angel. I explained what was going on with Angel and she seemed to believe she was stressed just based on what I was telling her.. Turns out to be true.. While I was talking to her I sat in front of Angels cage with her sitting on the door. I really really feel like Angel understood what I was expressing to the vet (ok ok I know call me crazy) After I spoke with her my husband came home and she perked right up.. Then he was on call so he had to leave again and she went back to pouting.. When he got back he got her out and she wanted me.. Hmm I think she was just mad at me for making her go through all the things she had (uhmp Mom always gets the blame for everything)
Call me strange probably true but as of this morning she woke up chatting came out on my arm for a play even took some Apple juice from a cup from me. Her poop seemed back to normal..
Boy I have a lot to learn but I am already learned alot about her..
I thank you all for your help and advice and I am thankful I called another vet she is much further away but seemed much more concerned for Angel and suggested I watch her a couple of days to see how she was doing reassured me that they were going to be in all the way up until Christmas day gave me an emergency number in case there was problems on Christmas day and scheduled an appointment for Tues after Christmas for a well check..
So lots of good things turned out..
I am also so very thankful to have a board of new friends I can turn to when I need advice..
