Umbrella Cockatoo- 15? years old..I think?
So, on the evening of her vet appointment, I came home from work early. Due to Noodles' superb internal clock, she knew it was hours before the typical time... Anyway, she was acting really vocal and silly...
As soon as I picked her up, she YELLED, "HAPPY BIRD!", followed immediately by a slightly quieter, but VERY clear "I missed you", as she placed her head on my chest and stared up at me!!! UGGHHHH so dang cute.. She came up with this on her own. Sometimes I say she is a happy bird, but only when she is happy!

All are rescues- had to leave their previous homes for 'reasons', are still in contact with them :)

The Rb usually greets me with a resounding "NO!" when I get home.
Could I just borrow Noodles for a while? Just a picture for my front door? Just permission to daydream for a nano-second about that kind of avian humanity?
That is just beautiful.

RB is my favorite....yes...lol permission granted. Yours sounds like such a little...poop (in a HILARRRIOUS WAY!)

The best I can hope for when I come home is Rocky says "Hello!" But since that's his favorite word and just about the only one he can say clearly, it's not really that amazing. LOL

Yoda, Green Cheek Conure - Trigger, Congo African Grey
Yoda typically starts shouting "Hi Yoda!" over and over until we get him out. Once out he bobs up and down, spins in circles, and steps side to side, dancing and laughing back as we laugh at him. He loves to make us laugh. :D
