What is the best age for Ghala to learn talking

Greeting to all, i have a question, i got a rose breasted cockatoo i guess age is between 5 to 6 month old, can he still learn words i mean what is the best age for Ghala to learn talking? Someone said that he is old and should be around 3 month old!!

Starting as soon as possible is the best way and keep working on developing language over their entire life.

He can learn--it's not too late. My cockatoo has learned new words as an adult even. Not all birds talk much though- even if exposed to language etc.

You mean 5 to 6 month still in the safe side to teach him words correct

We work with older Amazons and from the day they come to live with us, we work on teaching language /communication /contact calls.
FYI: Parrot communication is far more than just Human Language. We also, need to learn their Language.

Don't think you can go wrong by starting early, if the bird is not ready your effort simply wouldn't register. My understanding is parrots can learn to speak at later stages of life.

Any age. Birds who want to talk will learn things all their lives. Rocky's 9 and my cockatiel is teaching him to whistle. LOL
