Tiger came to me with no history and very aggressive. Today she is a loving cuddly dancing bird! She is also harness trained! This was so easy. Here’s some pix.

It took me two try’s and it’s a small I got it for my other bird sissy she’s a severeMacaw and it’s to big on her but seems to fit tiger really well. I got lucky with this one..sissy hates the harness fights me the entire time but once it’s on she’s fine.

That's crazy! well-done!
Mine is super tame but HATES hers-- she's scared of it --she's always been weird about objects...(I'm afraid Noodles might injure herself if I forced it onto her). Hers is a large but the head-hole seems too small (it touches her face when going on, which is likely another part of the issue, but certainly not the only issue lol)...may need a size up...just dk if I want to spend the money...

Thanks Scott!!! as most of you know I rescue birds from bad situations and tiger is one of them but since I brought her home and have had her beak trimmed every month this little girl is sooo loving!!!! ( her beak was damaged in a fight and she stopped eating months before I took her) I have her on a new diet and regularly checked by a vet, covid 19 is making it hard to make money but I’m doing my best and using my care credit card lol

How old is she again?
Also- what kind of harness is that? I thought it was an Aviator, but it looks different in terms of the head-hole.

Thought it was a small and I had it loose on tiger. Idk I’ve had it for 5 years. And yes aviator harness it was sized for a severe. This bird is such an angel...except in the morning. Definitely NOT a morning bird lol
I can’t get my photos right side up no matter how man times I turn them soooo frustrating (if admins want to help me learn how to make photo up side right is appreciate at it)

Not sure how old she is
Here is the story of tiger ....
4 years ago tiger was dropped off in a carrier by a man who said he hates his bird and doesn’t want it anymore. He had kept tiger in a back room only opening it to sometimes to feed her. That’s all I know . When I started at the sanctuary tiger was untame and mean and just screamed non stop. My boss thru tiger in quentine to shut her up then in a cage with an aggressive bird eventually by herself then back with an aggressive bird resulting in a massive fight that tore tigers beak apart. My boss did nothing about it till I stepped in and took her . She wasn’t eating or getting water she was under 430 grams which is really under weight . And I’m not sure what size the harness ,is like I said I’ve had it 5 years and it was sized for a severe but it’s too big for sissy my severe

Sometimes I am ashamed to be a human the way some parrots are treated, but you give me hope for the species.

the age question is unrelated to harness size lol! I was just wondering because younger birds take to things faster than older birds....wondered if yours was under the age of 8.
EDIT- Just saw that you don't know the age--- sorry! Missed that!

Either way, good job!

Load the photos on your PC, display them and use the photo program to orient them properly, then save them. Those saved photo's will display properly. It's difficult to do on a phone because most phones automatically orient them without saving the orientation data in the photo's exif area.
