There is a new member of our family - a galah!
My family never raised a parrot, so we are new with this whole thing. We want to do the best we can in raising him up. We want it to live his life with us well.
I would very much appreciate it if you could give me some tips on how we can raise it in a right way.
Diet? Type of food to give? Best cage for a galah? Any one here have a galah? Is there anything we should keep in mind? Are galahs good at learning stuff? What sort of things can we teach our galah? How long does it take for a galah to learn a word? How can we teach him a word? Our galah is a big chewer; if he sits on your arm, he chews in the first second. Is there a way to teach him not to do that? As it does hurt when he chews on skin
Please share your experience with us, complete newbies in the parrot world.
Lastly, our galah is still nameless, any name suggestion will also be nice
