Major Mitchells like this one come down to cattle ponds to drink in Queensland!
I had the joy of filming all of the cockatoo species in Australia and I can tell you its so amazing to see them flying wild and free. I finally finished all of the editing and now its been so fun to share my DVD series with others that love parrots.
I thought folks might enjoy this youtube clip of my encounter with Sulphur-crests in New South Wales, Australia. You can have a look here:

I saw the DVD for sale on the World Parrot Trust. I am so tempted by your Youtube teaser. Would I get a discount??

About 3-4 minutes of Gang footage in the DVD series but none uploaded to youtube at the moment. Here are some stills though..

A gorgeous pair not far from Wentworth, NSW

The male of the pair was a beaut!

They have the most incredible creakey door sound they make. Such low-key little birds. I love the males whispy bright orange red top knot!

Awesome pictures mate!(in all your threads) I'm so glad you were able to see all these parrots, sometimes the smaller species can be real hard to find, but they are there ;).

I do love the Too's, they are so much fun to watch squabbling with each other on my back veranda lol. But, gee they are loud, especially when 20 start screaming in unison hehe.
