I just want to thank everyone that replied to my previous request for information on converting my CAG'S from seeds to pellets. Thanks so much for all your suggestions and advice. It has paid off and now after 8 years I can finally say my 2 African Greys are seed free and eating pellets daily fairly well with a mix made by My Safe Bird Store called Quacker Jax.
It has 75 ingredients and it is wonderful and the parrots love it. It has no seeds, no sunflower seed, or peanuts. It is filled with dehydrated fruits, and vegetables, mixed with some little foot toys. It looks so good I have to stop myself from eating it too......ha ha. The parrots love it and look for it everyday. They can't wait for me to fill their bowls with it. Again THANKS SO VERY MUCH for all your advice and help. You guys are great and we are so lucky to have you all as friends and experts in the parrot forum. I am also giving them Red Palm Oil as a supplement for feather health. Plus fresh fruits and vegetables and nuts. They are on their way to a happy and healthy life. A very special thanks to Spiritbird a moderator on the forum who sent the pellets and mix to me and has been a daily source of help and information also. THANKS ALL! :grey:
