...bought a notebook. When my cat Oliver was first brought home, he was doing such crazy things and I'd always have stories to tell to the people at work. I started thinking, I should record that this time around. I suppose I could do a blog but I don't know how. I just want to write down all those details because after 40 years they will probably become blurry. lol I suppose I could do it on the computer, I don't have Word or anything like that.

Can't wait to bring the baby home!:grey:

I keep a diary of the events, new words and other such things on my birds but not my kitty. Because my birds are young and I am not I figure the next guardian will have some insight on them.

I do have a list on my computer about all the animals. What they eat, what kind of toys they like, and in the case of the birds what they say. That way if something happens to me, it's there for my family and the new owners.

There's an idea, Suebee!

SB, yeah that was the secondary thing in the back of my mind, having a record of that and personality traits, fav toys and foods in case/when something happens to me.

I also have things written down like their health issues, and who their vet is. Also what their usual routines are and likes/dislikes. Pretty much everything I can think of for their care.
