I sure hope they get it back. For months I kept seeing an ad on CL for a lost Blue Crown conure. They were even offering more than enough for whoever may have found it to get their own baby, cage and supplies for the return of theirs. Of course they didn't really have any way of knowing that someone else had their bird.

A friend of mine once found a budgie in a parking lot. No one ever claimed it, so she kept it even though she wasn't much of a bird person. She did come to really like the little guy though.

I think we have some bird nappers in Md. There is also a lost Congo in Md. named Jack. The owners did all they could to find her. (yes Jack is a lady).
