Lost CAG :-(

I'm not quite sure if this is where I should post as I'm new to the parrot forum but my CAG flew the coop about three weeks ago. I live just south of Atlanta, GA and my Bailey's wings were not clipped. I have torn his cage down and rebuilt it out on my back deck and I go out and call for him all the time. I think I can hear him answering me but I'm not sure. I taught him a silly little whistle when he was a weaning baby (he's 12 now) and I'm pretty sure he's responding. Of course, a mocking bird could have learned it over three weeks. All that's visited his cage so far are squirrels and cardinals (wild birds will enter a cage for food, BTW).

Bailey can be seen at [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQmtZALwmLM]Go Braves - YouTube[/ame]. He is a great talker.

I have since bought a Magic Mesh for my sliding glass door so that this can't happen again.

Please help if you can.

Thanks!

Oh no! Bailey is very handsome! I sure hope you find him soon and he comes safely home. Did you post on Craigs List and parrotalert.com? Also, put fliers up everywhere! Call pet stores and vets in your area. I wish you success.

I have posted everywhere, notified the vets and animal control centers, posted in pet stores, and talked to all the kids within a twenty mile radius (not all most likely, but a lot). I'm hoping the cage will get him back. He's lived in the same one his whole life. Thanks for your well-wishes!
