lol so sat night i was trying to relax and watch some baseball and enjoy a beer. well my terror for a grey decided she liked beer. she was bound and determined to get some of that mystery liquid in the green thing. she was so obsessed with getting at the mystery liquid her feet were actually getting really hot and she started blushing. silly bird, beer is for humans now shoo!

LOL, cute! I love that beer too. House is always trying to get into whatever I drink but especially loves if it is in a pretty wine glass.

lol, Loki does the same thing! He gets hellbound and determined to have whatever is in a glass bottle. He goes absolutely nuts over it! Too funny!

I have the same problem with Jasper, whatever I have he feels he is obligated to have as well. And soda cans are shiiiiiney...

Cameo loves to have anything I am eating or drinking. She thinks she has the right to anything I am having. So I have to be careful of what I leave sitting in my glasses or on my plate. But I have not had her play with a bottle like that. Very good stimulation of they`re brain. I will have to try something like that.

Glad none of the above members give their birds beer
Birds are a lot more fragile than humans and most other animals. Giving them beer is like a death sentence and whatever something does to us will be ten times worse on a bird.
Their bodies cannot withstand being drunk and would simply make them very sick.
Most likely the bird will get alcohol poisoning and die.

Ummm.... When it comes to those "shiny" cans.....please exercise caution if you have a big parrot :54:
ReaRea LOVES to lick the "sweat" off of bottles and/or cans....I was enjoying a cold one a few months ago at my desk, next thing I knew I was "wearing" my beer....:30: She somehow got a solid grip with her beak on the bottom of the can and WHOOSH........all over my lap :20:
I don't think she got any to drink cause I jumped up so dang fast (it was a really cold beer

)

could of sworn I heard her snickering after that
