We've been looking into a rehome and I finally got a chance to talk to the parront on the phone today. She was telling me all about her flock and going on and on about Gabby (the TAG) and what she is like. It was very apparent from talking to her that this is a woman who loves her birds and cares for them well. She's had some medical issues and is going back to work so she is making sure her dear feathered friends will be getting the attention they need.
Gabby is about 4 years old, sounds healthy and very friendly. I think this will work out fabulously. The owner was talking to me about her habits, her favorites, and details about her diet. I am so excited. We talked for fifty minutes on the phone.
The hubby is a bit hesitant still, so we are giving it a day or two to make the final decision. Then we will need to plan the eight hour drive to go pick her up. But I am so excited. This would work out so wonderfully. ***happy dance***
