Abby 2 year old Female Eclectus & Solomon 12 year old Male CAG & Dickens 4 year old CAG.
I have not been on much since I got Solomon.
A little back ground... he is 11 years old and has not had any attention for 4-5 years... anyway. I have had him for 6 weeks now,
He only says Hello.... but he makes all kinds of sounds.. I will get them recorded. He is eating well and seems to be happy. I have not been able to get him out of his cage, he would semi lunge and pin his eyes.... I would just leave the door open and talk to him while I was in the kitchen cleaning or cooking. He would whistle and make all kinds of sounds. I tried a step up stick and it freaked him out. I think he had been poked at by the previous owners son... So I have just been taking it easy. He will take treats from me very gently and has never tried to bite.

Well today was not a good day for me. I dropped my truck off at the dealership at 7 am for some warranty work. I called at 4 pm and the service tech did not know if it was fixed or not.... long story... I ask for the Courtesy Van to come pick me up.. (10 mins from the dealer) well after several phone call and no one calling me back a friend at work took me over there is was now 6:45 pm... I was fuming. Truck not fixed and the last guy I talked to promised to call me... I confronted him in front of the Service Manager...
Any way have to take the truck back tomorrow and getting a loaner..

So when I got home all the babies were excited to see me. I let the dogs out, petted the cat, opened Solomon and Abby's Cages and went back into the kitchen to get water..
Well here is a short video of what happened next.. I was holding my cell phone with my left hand... so not a great pic but will know how I feel now..
Took all my frustrations.

It is such a special thing when these creatures decide to let us into their world. Isn't it?

Good for you. He is a really good looking grey. Seems that many of them like the head scratches.

Hey there Mike......
How is the "love affair" coming along this week?
Being meaning to ask, do Abby and Solomon interact together at all?
Are their cages near one another?
I would love to see Abby's reaction towards Solomon (hint hint)
