what does this sound mean?

A pair of cockatiels
And pair of African Greys
My CAG sometimes make chicken noises. It sounds like "co-co-co". What does it mean?

Does he make it randomly or when he's interacting with you? When my friend is petting her african gray he sometimes makes a similar sounding noise.

Hi, it's when I am around and it's seems like he wants something but I don't know what...I thought he wanted to be picked up, but when I did he kept doing those sounds...
