One year ago today we went to the airport (in a horrendous snow storm) to pick up Pepper! We made it her birthday as well, since they don't know an exact day for her. So Happy 12th Birthday Pepper my Love! We are celebrating with fruit salad and new toys for everybirdie!

Hubby and I just sang Happy Birthday to her. She LOVED it! Whistled, danced, and flapped her wings! LOL!

I got a pretty big order of new toys a few days ago, various things for all the birds. This is the new one that Pepper got today for her birthday. Large Pear by Paradise Toys - *NEW* ITEMS by MY SAFE BIRD STORE

Weather is crazy here. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 58! But then back down to a high of 27 the next day! Nothing like one year ago when we went to the airport to get Peppy though. A normally 2 hour drive took 4 there and 3 back on sheets of ice!

Yea I remembered that....so far we haven't had icy weather like that here this year yet....We'll see next month, which is usually the coldest month with possible snow for us....

OOOO, nice one.
I envy you a bit, here in Israel we have very poor choice of toys for parrots and everything is very expensive. Me and DH are trying to do dome DIY toys but we are not very good at it.
