What are your Grey's favourite treats? I'm trying to find something to give Spot for training - she wont take the sunflower seeds I use for Vino - Grapes seem to be her current favourite, a bit difficult to use for training unless I cut them up really small I suppose :)

Zeus loves grapes, too.

He also loves nuts in the shell. Walnuts are a favorite. He seems to enjoy working for the nut meat.

That's not too helpful as a training treat, though.

Small pieces of chicken might work.

I have yet to give Spot chicken but Vino goes bananas if we're having it for dinner and she doesn't get her share quick enough LoL! Maybe that will work for Spot if she likes it as much as Vino does!

Oh yeah, many parrots love chicken bones and they are savvy enough not to choke on it. They love to eat the marrow from inside the bone.

Little cannibals! LoL! It would never dawn on me to give them chicken bones. I come from a family of dog people and chicken bones are a huge no no for dogs. I would never have even thought of chicken meat until Vino stole a piece of my daughters! It still seems so odd to me to feed birds other birds :p

When I had a Grey, he loved pieces of chopped walnuts, pecans, and almonds. That's what we used to train him. He was my Grandfather's bird, and I inherited him when he was about 40 years old, and so was I. He passed away about 10 years ago. I would love to have another Grey. I miss Jessye to this day.
