Losing feathers

Sounds like she is beginning a moult.....if so, you'll be seeing a lot more feathers before she has her new finery.....

Parrots typically shed those little white down feathers continually, not just during a molt. In the 43 years I've been living with parrots, I don't think I've ever left the house without having one or two stuck to me somewhere. :D

In addition to the possibility of molting, down feathers will drop when the weather gets warmer and return to normal as it cools off. Congrats on your Baby Gracyee! I just brought home my new CAG Gracie the Saturday before last. She just had her birthday on the 16th of this month. Greys are wonderful!!!
