Hi all, I am currently preparing to bring in a baby African grey to join my life adventure in a few months and have a couple questions regarding the average monthly costs of an african grey. I just need to know what i need to pull aside each month. 
1. I plan to buy food in bulk, what are the better parrot pellet brands that are reasonably affordable?
2. How frequently should I replace toys, perches, food bowls and the average cost? this is also in regards of how quickly an african grey will destroy his toys. I do plan to get smaller ones as well every month to add to his play and variety.
3. Vet check up.
I realize that i must take my baby in as soon as i bring him home for a check up. From your experiences, what is the average cost of walking in the door, blood work, testing, etc.. a yearly check up is necessary and i plan to do so.
5. fruits veggies and treats.
I plan to give my baby a variety of healthy foods. I know that any different store will have different prices, but from your experience how much do you spend on fresh produce for your african grey every month? How much do you give him daily?
6. And finally all the Miscellaneous costs and things you purchase throughout the month.
