Smoke exposure

I would think it will be ok smoke is ver bad for parrots but some parrots have to endure years with people who smoke by them so a little exposure to your parrot probably wont need a vet visit. I rescued a Sun Conure once from someone who used to share their pot with him! The owner would smoke right next to the Conure and let the Conure nibble on it your baby should be fine.

Please be more specific. Smoke exposure?

Cigarette smoke? Cigar smoke, BBQ grill smoke? Burning Teflon frying pan smoke? Chemical fire smoke? Smoke has lots of sources, some are negligible, some are very bad and some are OK? If we don't know what was burning we cannot tell if you need to go to the vet.

well no one in my house smokes and when I have them outside I check every hour and try my best to be aware of anything around them. Im not sure what to look for as far as damage from it goes mainly make sure he seems his normal self though and doesnt appear to be having breathing problems.

I can imagine it was upsetting. I had a similar incident once, where I attempted to deep fry something and almost burned the kitchen down. Before I cleaned up the mess I had made, I took the fids outside (I had 2 at that time). Luckily they were both fine.

It was a burning frying pan smoke ( not Teflon ).She does not appear to have any breathing problems. What should I do?
