Okay, so people are always on either side of the fence as to whether or not you can tell the sex of a grey by the scalloping of the feathers near the tail. Let's put this debate to rest, shall we?

If you have a DNA sexed grey, please check to see the colour of the scalloping of the red feathers at the base of the tail, as shown below with the supposed "males" on the left and "females" of the right.

Please poll ONLY if you have had your bird DNA sexed by a professional, this poll will indicate the gender of the bird and colour of his/her feathers.
This way, those of us who haven't had our AGs sexed can check the results and see just how reliable this method is.

Just got my Grey and he/she has the Grey tips on the under side of the tail, going to get dna tested hopefully this week, so Ollie may be an Olivia!
