1.5 Inch Bar Spacing Too Much?

Wow! That is a incredible cage for a excellent price!

That is a large bar spacing though. Do you have a good relationship with your avian vet? Maybe you could bring your grey in and they can take a look at his head size and tell you if he would be fine with the 1.5 bar spacing or not.

You should be able to answer this one yourself.....measure your bird's thumb & forefinger...the two outside toes on each foot.....you want the measurement from talon to talon...the joint where the talons join the toes.....if that span is 1.5 inches, your birds shouldn't have any problems.....you also might get away with that spacing if the spacing from the crook of one talon to the crook of the next longest talon is 1.5 inches long, but if this dimension is anything smaller, I doubt they would enjoy that cage.....

I've been watching that cage for a while, he had it advertised at 800.00 a while ago It's a beauty.
I thought about getting it, but Bosley already has a big cage so I don't really need it.

I think the bar spacing may be a little big. I like Weco's suggestion and also Copper's to ask your vet.
